Registration & Form Questions

General Questions

  • If my child has previously played in Lynwood Little League, do I still need to provide proof of residency?

Yes, all new and returning players will be required to provide proof of residency.

  • Is my daughter able to play in Lynwood Little League?

Absolutely! We are proud to be a co-ed league where your daughter can have fun learning the game of baseball...and if she really enjoys the game, she'll be well prepared for softball when she's ready for high school.

  • What additional baseball equipment do you recommend for my player when the season starts?

The first item your player should have is a baseball glove that fits their "non-dominant" hand, because this is the hand they'll catch with while throwing the ball with their "strong" hand.

The second item is a pair of rubber baseball cleats for games and for practice. Be sure that they are not metal baseball cleats.

Additionally, if your player is a male, it is mandatory that they wear a "cup" for safety purposes.

  • Does my player need their own bat and helmet?

No, each team has a number of various bats and helmet sizes available for the entire team to share during games and practice.

If you'd like to purchase your player their own bat, please check with league staff first because bat performance ratings will be changing withing the next year and we don't want you to buy a bat that they won't be allowed to use in practice or in games.

Of course, you are more than welcome to purchase your player their own bat and helmet...and if their grades are good, a fresh pair of batting gloves too. :-)

  • How do I sign up as a volunteer?
